About Us
CLARETIAN ASHRAM, COLLEGE OF PHILOSOPHY The principal activity of the Claretian Ashram Society is the promotion of higher education, priestly and religious formation, and holistic human development through the Claretian Ashram – College of Philosophy, established in 1989 at Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha. Administered by the St. Thomas Province of the Claretian Missionaries (CMF), the Institute provides integrated philosophical, intellectual, spiritual, and pastoral formation for candidates preparing for missionary service while responding to the needs of contemporary society.
Inspired by the vision of St. Anthony Mary Claret, the Society is committed to forming persons of intellectual competence, moral integrity, spiritual maturity, and social responsibility. Its motto, "Hrudyasta Seva Dhirastha Vidya" ("Earnest Wisdom Leads to Loving Service"), reflects its mission of transforming knowledge into compassionate service.
In addition to philosophical education, the Society fulfils its objectives by conducting educational, cultural, spiritual, and social programmes, including seminars, retreats, value education, counselling, leadership formation, and rural development initiatives. Open to all irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, the Society promotes human dignity, ethical values, communal harmony, and sustainable development through education and charitable service.
For more than three decades, the Claretian Ashram Society has remained dedicated to building responsible leaders and compassionate citizens by integrating education, formation, faith, and service for the welfare of societyz
